THE 15 LB. MATCHMAKER
Griff Price resents having to care for his late ex-wife's baby. Rather than deal with the child's needs, he hires broke, desperate Jolie Carleton to care for THE 15 LB. MATCHMAKER (1) while he searches for a permanent nanny. In a hurry to get away from the baby, he doesn't interview Jolie, check her references, or take any other precautions. Jill Limber's novel is seriously marred by Griff's neglect for the infant. It borders on abuse and is inexcusable. Though Jolie's arrival changes everything, it's difficult to see Griff as any kind of hero.
