RT Rating

Fast-paced and fun, this book has a lot going for it, but it's simply not as engaging as the previous ones in the series. That's possibly because there's so much left unresolved -- a necessary evil but one that's also aggravating.

The Charmed Killer is still terrorizing Atlanta, and as usual, Carlotta Wren is in the thick of things. Hiding out at her former fiance Peter's home seems like a good idea, but it's not as comfortable solution. Reminders of Peter's late wife are everywhere, and it's pretty clear that his country club friends haven't forgotten -- or forgiven -- the misdeeds of Carlotta's father. Added to Carlotta's worries, her body-moving buddy, Cooper, and her brother, Wesley, are both going through tough times. It's enough to make a woman question her own sanity!
