8 SANDPIPER WAY
by Debbie Macomber

Genre: Mainstream, General Mainstream Fiction

RT Rating

Macomber takes us back to Cedar Cove for another emotional yet amusing visit, updating readers on events large and small in the lives of favorite characters, as well as introducing some new ones. Emily's dilemma is a thorny one, and it's resolved in a very satisfying way.

Emily Flemming has a secret. She's afraid that her husband, Pastor Dave Flemming, is having an affair -- because she found an earring that doesn't belong to her in his jacket pocket. There's another cause for concern --
relatives of one of Dave's recently deceased parishioners are saying
that some jewelry was stolen from her home, and he spent a lot of time with the lady prior to her death. There must be some explanation, but Emily just can't figure out what it could be! (MIRA, Sep., 384 pp., $7.99)
