Raney has a knack for helping readers to look at difficult issues from many angles. Any wife and mother will relate to Evette's struggles and wonder what she would do in a similar situation.

Evette McGlin is thrilled to
be pregnant with her first child. Her husband Judd works hard to ensure that she'll be able to stay home with their child, but everything changes
in an instant when Judd gets a call
from his college girlfriend's mother.

Tabrina has suffered a stroke, and Judd must come get their daughter,
a girl Judd knew nothing about. The news throws both Judd and Evette
into a tailspin. What will happen to
all of their plans? (STEEPLE HILL, Jun., 256
