Wonderfully outlandish, charmingly funny and touching, this story is a pleasant surprise from beginning to end. Dalton creates characters that are larger than life and scripts scenes that are downright incendiary. Though character development and relationship-building are often cut down for the sake of a fast, lighthearted plot, when it comes to wit and sizzle, this is an entertaining story that will no doubt leave readers looking for more.

Sean Morita is hoping for a quiet day out on the water, but when his boat collides with a pod of dolphins, he swiftly leaps to the rescue. Sean finds an injured man floating in the sea. Emery Nadel is a gorgeous stranded stranger who seems more than happy to come home with Sean for some personal treatment. Their chance encounter soon develops into a scorching affair. Even when Emery reveals that he is a dolphin-shifter, Sean knows true love when he sees it. But when Emery’s pod decides to reclaim him, and go to any means to separate him from Sean, Emery’s love is put to the test. (SIRENPUBLISHING.COM, dl $5.50)
