This well-paced story begins with a surprising erotic moment that happily jump-starts the central relationship. Characters interact believably, and though a bit too much time is spent on fantasy as opposed to reality, these fantasies play an important role in strengthening their sexual connection. Donahue balances business and pleasure admirably. The corporate politics that threaten to keep the main characters apart are almost as gripping as the tantalizing sex scenes between them.

Danni DeWitt and Adam Farrell work at rival lingerie companies. When they fall into each other's arms at a trade show, Adam hides the information that his company has just taken over Danni's and he's going to be her boss. She's had bad experiences with old boyfriends who betrayed her; Adam needs to prove that he's different. (ELLORASCAVE.COM, dl $5.95)
