ALESSANDRO’S PRIZE (3) by Helen Bianchin: Italian Alessandro del Marco has everything: a successful business empire, apartments and villas around the world, a private jet and more cars than he can drive in a lifetime. The only thing missing is a woman to share it all with. Enter Lily Parisi, a stunning Australian chef and restaurateur visiting her aunt in Milan. Lily and Alessandro have an easy sort of sensual chemistry between them that makes Alessandro’s Prize a pleasure to read. The plot lacks dramatic tension — there’s little question as to the direction the story is heading. Still, it’s a charming read.
