Book Review

ALL I NEED
by Susane Colasanti

Genre: Young Adult, Contemporary Young Adult

RT Rating

Colasanti’s novel features sweet, smart and fully realized characters. With tons in common, Skye and Seth still have interests beyond each other making it clear that while they are complete alone, they truly belong together. An alternating point of view allows for a deep look into both characters and will have readers relating to Skye and falling for Seth. A great summer read!

High school student Skye is infatuated with the idea of love and she can’t wait to find her perfect match. Seth, however, has already had his heart broken and isn't looking to repeat the experience. But when the two meet at a summer party, they are inexplicably drawn to each other. After a mix-up, the two fail to exchange last names or phone numbers making it impossible for them to reconnect. However, memories of the time they spent together gets Skye and Seth through to the next summer when they meet up and start a serious relationship. Distance, different social standings and other issues make it difficult for them to be together, but neither is willing to give up on the love they have found.
