ALL OR NOTHING
Genre: Romantic Suspense, General Romantic Suspense
As fate would have it, PI Al Giraud and his girlfriend, law professor Marla Cwitowitz, are witnesses to the first meeting of Steve Mallard, a family man relocating to San Diego, and real estate agent Laurie Martin. Weeks later, Al and Marla happen to see this couple again, and it is apparent that they now know each other better.
Shortly thereafter Laurie disappears and Steve is suspected of foul play. He insists that their relationship was strictly business. When Lauries car is located there are bloodstains in it, but no body. Steve is soon being vilified in the press as the killer. Since shes wanted to work with Al on a case for ages, Marla seizes the opportunity and contacts Vickie Mallard. Soon Al and Marla are hired to uncover the truth about what really happened to Laurie Martin.
The first thing that Al and Marla discover is that Laurie was not who she appeared to be. Nothing about this womans life seems to add up.
