Nolan’s writing ability will amaze readers. She doesn’t let you catch your breath during the entire captivating storyline. While this is a bit different from the first Hoodoo Apprentice title, with a switch as to the favored character, fear not: because our popular trio has returned in full force. Expect to laugh, cry, bite your nails and shiver — it’s that good. Thank goodness a third book is coming!

The Beaumont Curse needs to be broken in order for Emma Guthrie’s boyfriend Cooper to survive his 16th birthday. Emma swears evil and mysterious forces are trying to keep them apart forever, but she’ll wield her newfound power to save their relationship.
