Bridget Cole and Matt Fox grew up as best friends, until her mother saw them kissing at her 16th birthday party. Twelve years later, Bridget is a model and Matt's an MIT professor who's invented a new fabric. What hasn't changed is their attraction to each other. Bridget and Matt are engaging characters, but Karen Anders' Almost Naked, Inc. (2) is weak because the two never feel like old friends. Also, the premise is unrealistic. How can a 28-year-old—past her prime for the modeling biz—be looking forward to her career taking off and someone with no business knowledge find instant success as a cloth designer.
