Having been raised by her father and six uncles, Margaret Clemens can do anything a man can, from running a ranch to cussing a blue streak.

Margaret is in love with Matt Eilers. Many others wrote Matt off as a weak-willed womanizer, but Margaret sees past his faults and wants to spend her life with him.

Sheila, a waitress from a neighboring town, encourages Matt to capitalize on Margarets love for him since following the death of her father, Margaret is now a wealthy woman. Sheila is certain there is a fortune in it for them if he was to briefly marry Margaret. What she doesnt count on is Matt finding love himself.

Ms. Macombers spirit and heart shine through in the charming conclusion to this trilogy. Readers might be left hoping that there will be more stories sometime in the future about our friends in North Dakota. (May, 384 pp., $6.99)
