AMELIA ANNE IS DEAD AND GONE
by Kat Rosenfield

Genre: Young Adult, Mystery

RT Rating

Rosenfield’s debut is wonderfully, oppressively atmospheric. Readers will sweat right along with Becca during her last suffocating summer in her tiny hometown. Small-town life, the good and the bad, the evil and the innocent, come together in this gripping tale. Rosenfield is definitely one to watch!

With graduation behind her, Becca’s ready to leave Bridgeton forever. Or is she? When a dead girl is found by the side of the road the same night that Becca’s townie boyfriend dumps her, she becomes suffocated by her life, trapped in a tailspin, unable to move on. What happened to Amelia Anne? What will happen to Becca? (DUTTON, Jul., 304 pp., $17.99, ISBN: 9780525423898, HC, 15 & Up)
