Book Review

THE AMERICAN TEMP AND THE BRITISH INSPECTOR
by Pat White

Genre: Series

RT Rating

The search for a serial killer may be the ultimate salvation for former inspector Max Templeton. Suffering post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of a terrorist bombing, Max fled London for Seattle to recover when his old comrades approach him to help find two missing men. Cassie Clarke fled
an abusive marriage and signed on to be
a temporary home assistant to the surly ex-cop, but she's also becoming essential to Max's recovery. Pat White's possibly top-notch serial killer tale, The American Temp and the British Inspector (3),
is overshadowed by too much stiff upper
lip and not enough character definition.
