Book Review

AN AMISH WEDDING
by Beth Wiseman, Kathleen Fuller, Kelly Long

Genre: Inspirational, Anthology, Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

Three intertwined stories and characters combine in this charming book. Worry is something that blocks God’s voice from the believer. While it is difficult, one should not question God’s plan, as His plan is perfect … even if it does not seem so at the time. Recipes perfect for the holiday season are included.

In “A Perfect Secret,” by Long, Rose is planning her wedding to Luke. Their community has a Robin Hood-type thief. Rose is intrigued by the mystery man and Luke fears she wants more than he can give her. In “A Perfect Match,” by Fuller, Naomi decides to play matchmaker for her friends, Margaret and Zeke. However, Zeke has his eye on another. In Wiseman’s “A Perfect Plan,” Priscilla is preparing for her wedding to Chester. There seems to be one problem after another. Priscilla wonders if God is trying to tell them something. (THOMAS NELSON, Nov., 400 pp., $15.99)
