Moonlight Madison has always had an independent streak. After the death of her parents, she is more determined than ever to complete veterinary school without any help. Since school is expensive, she holds an unusual night job--as "Mistress Moon," a dominatrix at the BDSM club Whipped Cream.

When Blake Hunter, a quiet, reclusive client at the veterinary clinic, appears at the club and pays for a full night of her services, Moonlight is disappointed. She can't believe a man so powerfully sexy is a submissive. But she's in for quite a surprise and a few life changes--and she isn't taking anything lying down!

As with any Burton book, when you pick up this one, you will want to read it from cover to cover. The plot is intriguing, and the lead characters are strong. Reading how they meld their lives is a nice treat. As usual, there's a sharp emotional edge that compels the reader. (dl $5.20)
