Nate Hawkins is at a crossroads in his life when he runs into Laurel Pierce, the widow of a good friend. Nate finds purpose in helping the very pregnant Laurel, and soon friendship turns into courtship. But when love surfaces Nate begins to have doubts about measuring up to Laurel's first husband. No matter how much she tries to convince him that there's room in her heart for him, Nate sees her as ANOTHER MAN'S WIFE (2). While Rebecca Winters writes an affable story about creating new beginnings, polite and sugary dialogue give the characters a cardboard feel.
