Genre: Paranormal/Urban Fantasy

RT Rating

This is a fun, fast-paced read featuring one overworked, ready-for-love mortal and one playboy vampire. Love's New Orleans setting, which includes late-night rock bars and haunted hotels, adds an air of mystery and intrigue. Readers will enjoy the music made both in and out of the bedroom and ponder till the end whether the couple can make it work.

Maggie Gallagher is vacationing in New Orleans, on break from her job as an authenticator of classical music. But her work seems to find her when she enters a bar and sees a beautiful man at the piano, playing a 100-year-old melody he shouldn't know. Classical pianist Renaldo D'Antonio, a century-old vampire, has lived peacefully among the mortals with the intention of nothing more than having a good time -- until Maggie walks into his club and suddenly forever seems unbearable if it can't be with her. I loved Maggie. I thought her character was well rounded and thought out. Ren, frustrating as he was, was adorable.

Great cover too by the way. That guys expression is perfect for Ren!
