Book Review

by Melody Carlson

Genre: Inspirational, Young Adult

RT Rating

Carlson always writes about relevant topics facing teens of faith today. Her latest story presents both sides of a contentious issue and will leave readers discussing the story long after they've finished the book. Sophie can be infuriating, but she's so real you'll think you know her. Carlson's book should be required reading for teens and their parents.

Seventeen-year-old Sophie is a smart girl with a bright future. But just like anyone else, she wants to fit in. One day, the need for acceptance and love brings consequences that will change Sophie's life forever. Until she can figure out what to do next, Sophie must keep her secret from the people she loves and respects. Will Sophie be brave enough to make the right choices for her life?
