ARMS OF LOVE
by Kelly Long

Genre: Inspirational, Historical Romance

RT Rating

Arms of Love is rich in the historical details of the Amish in America in the 1700s. Long creates storylines that captivate her readers, without being heavyhanded on the details of the Amish. Her characters struggle with making the right choices and getting through these tough spots with their faith in themselves and God.

Lena Yoder cannot understand why Adam Wyse has distanced himself from her; they have loved each other most of their lives and were planning to wed. Adam made a promise to Lena’s mother on her deathbed that he would not commit to Lena until he made a decision about joining the war effort. As Amish, if he would choose to fight, he could lose everything, as the Amish do not bear arms. Can Adam keep a deathbed promise or will he choose true love over freedom?
