Mary Burton's The Arsonist (4)
is a fast-paced action story, though it's
easy to tell who the bad guy is from
the beginning. News reporter Darcy Sampson goes home to get an exclusive interview with Michael Gannon, an arson investigator who disappeared after a series of fire crimes was finally solved. When
new fires break out around town, Michael becomes a suspect. Darcy could be his
only ally -- if she believes in his innocence. Falling in love only complicates
matters as Darcy and Michael try to prove his innocence and discover who the real arsonist is. The epilogue will leave readers wondering if another story is soon to follow, picking up where this one leaves off.
