The powerful story of three troubled souls who must pull themselves back from the brink of destruction. There is no happily-ever-after scene, however, which makes this reader wonder if there will be a sequel to this story.

Three college buddies, Jasmine, Evelyn and Malone share hosting duties on a radio talk show. When one of them taunts a pregnant teenager who claims to be suicidal, their lives start to unravel.

Jasmine, Evelyn and Malone each have their issues. Jasmine and Evelyn are fighting insecurities from their childhood, which will escalate to such lengths that their friendship is potentially sacrificed. And because of a sports injury, Malone relinquishes his football career before he's ready to do so. Couple that with a custody battle with his vindictive ex-wife, and he should be a ticking time bomb.

Fortunately, some of the outcomes are happy for these characters.
