ATTRACTED TO FIRE
While the story has an interesting premise, the predictable plot lacks the needed tension romantic suspense readers expect. Overall, though, the author’s storytelling skill keeps the pages turning.
After protecting the vice president’s daughter, Special Agent Meghan Connors sees a promotion to protecting the president in easy reach. Special Agent in Charge Ash Zinders is up for the same job but he doesn’t think women have a place as Secret Service agents, and he won’t let this one take away his chance at advancement. But as they work together to guard Lindsey, the vice president’s daughter, from a dangerous stalker, they find the attraction between them hard to deny.
