Book Review

THE ATTRACTION FACTOR
by Cathy McDavid

Genre: Contemporary Romance, General Contemporary Romance

RT Rating

After Marc Johnson was sued by a student teacher for sexual harassment,
he became very leery of women in general. He now owns a bookstore and is trying to get his life back together. Enter Julie Gates, former student and now a CPA.

Julie cant believe that Marc Johnson, her former teacher, whom she once had a crush on, owns The BookMarc. She figured he would have already written a bestseller or would still be a teacher. Julie and Marc are attracted to each other but Marc cant get past the fact that Julie is a former student. They both have other issues that need to be addressed also, such as Marcs son and Julies brother who is living with her now. Marc also needs to learn to trust again.

This was an excellent story, one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I liked the way the former student/former teacher relationship was handled. I also liked how Julie reacted with her brother and with Marcs son. (Jun., 256 pp., $5.99)
