AUTUMN LEAVES is the powerful story of college friends Rorey, Marshall, Jasmine, Legacy, Kennedy and Morris. They share friendship, childhood difficulties that influence their present-day relationships, and a direct association with AIDS that will affect them all.

Rorey and Marshall both have promising NFL careers, and Legacy, Kennedy and Morris all work in some capacity in the art world. A heartbreaking tragedy creeps its way into one of their lives, and it will take the will and loyalty of each other's friendship to support this person in their time of dire need.

AUTUMN LEAVES is not only the name of an AIDS clinic; it also aptly describes how some of these characters leave the springtime of their lives by falling like leaves in autumn. This is a very moving story with plenty of drama, heart-pounding action and seriously emotional scenes. (Sep., 352 pp., $24.95)
