Unexpectedly left with his niece for a long weekend, heart surgeon Stuart Thorpe is forced to seek help from baby photographer Kim Cooper. Kim has problems of her own: she's about to lose the lilac garden that's helped earn her acclaim, and worse yet, this is the weekend she was supposed to be married! Getting out of town with Stuart and the baby is a godsend—once they enter her life, her ex-fiancé and the lilacs really are the last things on her mind. Kristine Rolofson's THE BABY AND THE BACHELOR (3) is both sweet and sensual. All of the characters are nicely-rounded, and the heroine in particular is easy to relate to.
