FOR BABY AND ME (4) by Margaret Watson: After hearing her parents were killed in a plane crash, architect Sierra Clark sleeps with her boss, Nick Boone, out of grief. A few weeks later she learns she’s pregnant. Never having wanted children, Nick offers financial support only. Sierra quits the firm, taking a client with her. She travels to the small town of Otter Tail to take on the job herself, but Nick follows her, determined to help and make her life easier. For Baby and Me is a sweet story about love’s power to change people with nicely written characters. Nick’s hesitation and confusion are nicely drawn, as is Sierra’s determination to build a life for herself and her baby.
