A BABY IN THE BARGAIN (4.5) by Victoria Pade: The Camden family is trying to right the wrongs of their ancestor H.J. Camden, and January Camden is given the assignment of the Thatcher family. Her work is cut out for her when she meets gorgeous Gideon Thatcher, who lives by the rules, “No Camdens, no kids.” Jani quickly learns the Camdens ruined his family. As for the kids part, it’s too personal for Gideon to divulge. He’s intrigued by Jani’s proposal to clear his family name, and by his attraction to the enemy. When sparks fly, can rules be broken? Pade’s couple is sweet, believable and heartbreaking as they work to clear the misdeeds of the past.
