When a book opens in the middle of red-hot office sex, you think you’re in for a great read, but the sex is where this book hits its peak. Linc starts out as an alpha-male caricature, complete with controlling, stalkerish behavior, and is nearly impossible to like. When he discovers Thea’s big secret, he does a complete 180 into doting boyfriend mode, and Thea’s expected capitulation happens far too easily.

Thea Marshall does the unthinkable: She gives in to the sexual tension with her boss, Lincoln Campbell, and they have a night of steamy sex. She expects things to be awkward the next day at the office; what she doesn’t expect is to be fired, accused of selling corporate secrets to a competitor. She flees town, and Linc soon discovers he can’t live without her. But the repercussions of their night together have lasting results. (SAMHAINPUBLISHING.COM, dl $4.50)
