BABY, LET IT SNOW
BABY, LET IT SNOW (3) by Beverly Jenkins & Elaine Overton: Jenkins’ tale is well written, given the small amount of space she has to work with, and the love scenes are steamy yet romantic. Morgan Todd and Dina Caldwell grew up next door to each other and fell in love. They’re engaged when news of Morgan’s philandering ways leads Dina to cancel the wedding. Realizing what he lost, Morgan hopes to prove to Dina that he’s changed. Overton’s entry reads more like a short story and there’s no time to really connect with the characters. Robert Fenton has come back home to enact revenge on the family he believes ruined his life. He reconnects with Diana Rogers, the woman he was once engaged to. Suspicions and fear aside, Robert and Diana can’t fight the emotional hold they have on one another.
