THE BABY MADE AT CHRISTMAS (4) by Lilian Darcy: Lee Cherry’s move home to her family’s New York resort comes after she sees a positive sign on a pregnancy test. The pregnancy is the result of a casual fling with a fellow Aspen ski instructor: one who didn’t take the news about becoming a father well. Sure, Mac Wheeler was shocked by Lee’s news, but he follows her from Colorado to New York to be a part of their child’s life and, hopefully, Lee’s life as well. Mac and Lee will have to exorcise the ghosts of their individual pasts if they want a future together. Darcy’s baby-makes-three romance is a page-turning, picturesque, feast for the senses. She dishes a huge dose of relationship reality to her couple, whose road to happiness is a bumpy ride of indecision and fear.
