THE BABY TWINS (3) by Laura Marie Altom: Stephanie Olmstead hates to fly and has a panic attack at 33,000 feet. In blind terror, she tries to open the cabin door and falls into Brady McGuire's arms. Brady recognizes the hysterical woman as his deceased friend's widow. He is concerned and a bit surprised when she calls him by her late husband's name. Brady is drawn to her, but Stephanie is recovering from her husband's tragic death and he's dealing with his own bitter divorce. Love grows out of an old friendship, but can two damaged people put their hearts on the line and risk a relationship? Altom's characters are angsty at times, almost overwhelmingly so, but the story is good and the supporting characters are colorful and entertaining.
