BAREFOOT BRIDES
by Annie Jones

Genre: Inspirational, Mainstream

RT Rating

In the second entry in Jones' Barefoot series, three sisters learn to accept each other and forgive themselves for past hurts as well as learn to function as a family. This well-written tale leaves the reader with the knowledge that God always knows what He is doing.

Jo Cromwell wants to do God's will, if only she can figure out what it is, hopefully with the help of hunky minister Travis Brandt. Moxie Weatherby isn't sure who she is or where she's going, just that she has an attraction to the new newspaper editor, R. Hunt Diamante. And Dr. Kate Cromwell is trying to re-ignite her relationship with Vince Merchant while adjusting to a small-town medical practice. (STEEPLE HILL, Jan., 320 pp., $6.99)
