This is without a doubt the best in Lauren’s Beautiful series thus far. Hanna and Will are both fully formed characters and, for once, the alternating his and her POVs don’t diminish the story. Readers will enjoy watching this friends-to-lovers relationship unfold and, aside from some awkward flirting, will find the chemistry between Hanna and Will electrifying. Not to mention Hanna’s nerdy banter will charm anyone who can’t resist a geek-girl heroine.
Playboy Will Sumner has always seen Hanna “Ziggy” Bergstrom as his best friend’s kid sister, but when she moves to NYC for graduate school, the socially inexperienced girl comes to him for dating advice. He’s happy to steer her in the right direction — and not straight into his bed, to the surprise of pals Bennett and Max — but as he gets to know Hanna, he realizes that she’s no longer the geeky teen he remembered, and this project may be more than his heart can handle.
