BELONG TO ME
In this a wonderful tale of everyday life, the story flows smoothly among the three main characters, who are all intriguing and well written. De los Santos' prose is poetic and descriptive.
Life throws many curves to
the residents of Willow Lane. Piper, the proverbial Stepford wife, watches in despair as her best friend slowly dies
of cancer and her marriage crumbles around her. As if that isn't enough, she is now running two households with four small children. There's a mystery to solve, a medically complicated pregnancy--and that's only half the story. (Morrow, Apr., 400 pp., $24.95)
