When Bandera Jefferson sees runaway bride Holly Henshaw standing on the side of the road, he can't resist pulling over to see if she needs help. She doesn't, but he convinces her to join him on a wild trip involving trucks, motorcycles and a hot- air balloon or two. Though fans of Tina Leonard's Cowboys by the Dozen miniseries will no doubt appreciate her offbeat sense of humor, Belonging to Bandera (2) skimps on character development and loads on the one-liners. The story unfolds at breakneck speed, but when readers reach the cliffhanger ending, they may not remember how they got there.
