For pure, old-fashioned romance, readers need look no further than this debut book by Deb Kastner. BELOVED follows the story of Kate Logan, wedding coordinator and part-owner of a wedding chapel, who hires handsome pastor Todd Jensen to perform the weddings at the chapel. Todd is much too handsome for Kates own good, and though her partners at the chapel think hes great, Kate soon questions her decision in hiring him. For different reasons, Kate and Todd have long believed they were each meant to be single. But working side by side in the wedding business has them both wondering if Gods plans for their lives have changed.

As Todd goes all out to win Kates heart, the pain of Kates past is revealed to readers. When he learns the reason for her fear of a relationship, this becomes one of the sweetest romances ever. Told in a fresh new voice, this emotional story is balanced by light humor and the joy of friendship. God has a plan for all his beloved children, and the journey to discover whats in store for Kate and Todd is one readers wont want to miss. (Aug., 256 pp., $9.99)
