Y'Barbo's latest has all the ingredients historical romance readers want: adventure, secrets, danger and love. It all blends wonderfully together until Emilie and Caleb are separated for a good portion of the story, causing the plot to lose momentum. Overall, though, the story is enjoyable
and worth the read.
The attraction between them is immediate. Caleb is hiding secrets, but will it be Emilie's secret heritage that destroys everything Caleb worked hard to achieve? (Barbour, Nov., 304 pp., $10.97)
