Book Review

BENEATH THE SURFACE
by Linda Turner

Genre: Series, Silhouette Intimate Moments, Previously Published Series Imprints

RT Rating

Abby Saunders is massively insecure when it comes to men and dating. After one more disaster, she decides
she can't keep playing it safe and joins
a dating service. Newspaper reporter Logan St. John's wife died a year ago,
his job is going down the drain and he can't stand the thought of dating. Then his brother and sister sign him up for
a dating service and he meets Abby. Beneath the Surface (2) by Linda Turner has adventure and a sweet romance. But Abby is so insecure that for much of the book, she is depressing to read about. Also, the plot doesn't seem realistic in its details. For example, it is unlikely that the top reporter in a one-newspaper town wouldn't know the name of the superintendent of schools.
