RT Rating

If ever there were a pair of reluctant mates, these two definitely qualify. As the overarching plotline develops within Leigh's Breed series, it continues to expose more treachery and violence. Accomplished Leigh really puts her characters through the wringer!

Eleven years ago, reporter Cassa Hawkins discovered her husband Douglas' horrible treachery during a botched rescue attempt in a German Bengal Breed facility. All but one of
the captive Bengals were slaughtered.
In a frenzy of anger, the lone survivor, Bengal Breed Cabal St. Laurents, claims Cassa in retribution.

Although Douglas was killed in the raid, Cassa still feels the pain of betrayal. Now someone is killing off those involved in earlier atrocities and sending her the visual evidence of the murders. Cabal must catch the killer before Breed society is blamed. But working with Cassa inflames the simmering emotions and hormones between these two destined mates.
