A thought-provoking page-turner that will resonate with readers. Some may come away feeling that time alone may not be so bad, if the other option is toxic friendships. This is the second book in the Life at Kingston High series but does not have to be read in order.

One day Lishia has friends, the next everyone has turned against her. No explanation. Just complete and total isolation. Even her best friend, Janelle, isn’t giving her the time of day. When she makes a connection with Riley, a popular cheerleader, things start looking up. But is Riley really as good a friend as she seems? Or is Lishia better off without her?
