Recent divorcée Delia Drummond is the talk of her hometown. Refusing to be crushed by her ex's affair or controlled by her mom, Delia moves into a trailer she's inherited from her uncle and wonders if she can make a living with her bead art. Trying to find herself, she takes up with rancher J.C. Brown—aka Joe, her ex's girlfriend's brother. This turns a supposedly straightforward consummation of long-standing lust into a minefield for Delia—and Joe. Kristine Rolofson's affection for her characters is very apparent in The Best Man in Texas (4), a charming story with a great ending.
