This is an amazing addition to the Counting on Love series. Nicholas’ tendency to give her fans a break from the hot- and-heavy stuff by making them laugh every now and then is genius! There’s a lot of sexual tension stuffed into this romance, but it’s all balanced out perfectly. Readers will embrace Emma, who is feisty, flirty and fabulous. This book is great as a stand-alone and even better if read in series order to get to know the characters better. Overall a smooth read with perfectly entwined subplots.

Trauma surgeon and single father Nate Sullivan plans to be a bachelor for the rest of his life. He adores women and lives by his personal rule: Love ‘em and leave ‘em. But when he witnesses his very own son fall in love, he must put his foot down before hearts are broken. Emma Dixon disagrees with Nate, her longtime crush. She thinks the teenagers’ relationship should blossom. As Nate and Emma argue over who’s right, they both feel their mutual attraction heating up. Will Nate give in to Emma’s outspoken ways and tender lips, or will Emma give up on him and move on? (SAMHAINPUBLISHING.COM, dl $5.50)
