BETRAYAL ON THE BORDER
BETRAYAL ON THE BORDER (3) by Jill Elizabeth Nelson: Maddie Jameson is being hunted by someone who wants her dead. She believes reporter Chris Mason was the traitor related to the Rio Grande Massacre and is surprised when he shows up at her car. Both are searching for the mastermind, but when it appears that federal agents could be involved, she wonders if Chris is using her to get a big story for himself. Or will they uncover a truth that is more horrifying than Maddie imagined? The pace and suspense are mediocre, but Nelson skillfully demonstrates the harsh realities of the drug trade.
