Salonen's endearing read, with an unusual cast of characters, is a heartwarming book that will enthrall readers.

Grace is trying to find her place in the world after the death of her Gypsy king father. This Gypsy princess is still looking for her prince and, while she waits for him, she's decided that her destiny is to open up a second restaurant closer to the strip in Las Vegas. But her potential partner Charles has been acting a bit bizarre and this has Grace thinking twice. Then, her mother brings home another lost family member: Nikolai, an ex-con, out-of-work, angry drifter ... or is he?

Nikolai seems very interested in Charles, and Grace can't ignore that she's more than interested in Nikolai. The fact that he can truly kiss is an added treat--but can she love a man who doesn't seem to be real?

This is a lovely romance involving a fun and complex family. Salonen gives the reader a private window into the world of the Rom, and, as a result, adds a twist to this sweet romance. (Nov., 448 pp., $5.99)
