There's something about
the new vet in town that has captured John Tyler's undivided attention. To call him persistent in his repeated attempts to get her to join him for dinner would be a definite understatement. Alison Samuels moved to Sundown to start a new life, without forgetting her old one. A young widow, she has no intention of moving on and forgetting the life she made with her husband. John and Alison both have their share of secrets but learn that the heart doesn't care which secrets the mind wants to keep. Cindy Gerard's Between Midnight and Morning (4.5) is a pleasure to read from beginning to end. This novel is filled with humor and tenderness, intriguing characters and a rich story.
