Book Review

by Sheila Roberts

Genre: Mainstream, General Mainstream Fiction

RT Rating

Roberts presents a predictable but fun beach read. Her characters are warm and engaging, and their interactions are full of humor. This book is perfect for a summer day with a margarita.

Kizzy, Angela, Megan
and Erin come to the same conclusion
for different reasons: The weight
must go. So they transform their
cooking club from a decadent binge-
fest to an inspirational diet support group. Each woman's journey is
filled with successes and backsliding but never lacks for the love and power
of girls in small groups. (St. Martin's Griffin, Apr., 352 pp., $13.95
