Billerbeck’s light romance is enjoyable and fun. Readers will identify with Katie’s desire for stability in a relationship and will delight in her ultimate choice of a partner. The characters can verge on caricatures, but it works well within the overall story. A fantastic spiritual message makes this novel shine.

Katie McKenna had an exciting boyfriend when she was younger, but that didn’t work out so well. Now she’s nearly engaged to the stable Dexter and on the road to a comfortable, secure life. Yet in walks her multimillionaire ex Luc, and her life is turned over again.
