THE BILLIONAIRE'S FAIR LADY
THE BILLIONAIRE’S FAIR LADY (3) by Barbara Wallace: Single mom and waitress Roxy O’Brien is trying to cope with the loss of her mother when she finds old love letters that were sent from Wentworth Sinclair, formerly one of the wealthiest men in New York, to her mother — right around the time when she was born. Could it be possible she’s the heir to more money than she can imagine? Roxy brings her case to lawyer Michael Templeton to make a claim against the Wentworth estate. He thinks it’s an outrageous idea, but with his business on the outs, he figures it’s worth a shot. They fight as a team to make better lives for themselves, but in the end they learn money can’t buy love. This is an interesting and enjoyable read, but readers may feel some facts are missing in Wallace’s somewhat predictable plot.
