Melody Taylor and Zeke Russell were in love and engaged, until Melody's mother, Anna, came between them. Bitterly hurt by Melody's father, Anna is convinced that all handsome men are the same and has instilled some of those insecurities in her daughter, who misunderstands an innocent situation between Zeke and his secretary. When Anna's business is threatened, however, Zeke rushes in and saves the day. Melody and Zeke realize that they still love each other, but it will be an uphill battle against Anna if their love is to survive. While The Billionaire's Virgin Bride (3), by Helen Brooks, is a good enough story, Anna's insecurities and Melody's inability to stand up to her mother soon grow old.
